The Samsung B2100 is a capable adversary to any phone on the market in its price range. It provides a variety of functions and does so in an easy to use style that makes this phone a joy to own. All the major features that have become customary are included within this phone and its popularity is due to this simple fact. Although it possesses all the features it is also an extremely tough mobile phone.
As the name suggests, this phone is built with an eye on durability and shock resistance. Its water and dust resistant and waterproof up to 1 metre for up to 30 minutes. Its casing is built with anti-shock materials, namely urethane to provide the element that this phone has become renowned for. Noise cancellation with a dedicated microphone provides clarity of call and suppresses unwanted noise to a level which ensures that is the case.
The TFT display offers 256,000 colours which ensures images of clarity and suitably vibrant resolution. At 1.77 inches the screen is large enough to encompass all the required attributes that are to be expected in a phone from Samsung Xplorer B2100 mobile phone.
The camera is a 1.3 mega pixel camera with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels and also doubles up as a video capture device, allowing the user to record video footage at a reasonable 15 frames per second. Memory capacity is always a concern when recording video and the internal memory on this phone is 7Mb, although it is expandable up to an impressive 8Gb with the in built microSD slot provided.
An MP3 player, which supports MP3, eAAC and WMA as well as WAV formats and a stereo FM radio provide the means to enjoy a variety of music and local and national radio stations, to relax and unwind whilst on the move. GPRS, HSCSD and EDGE are included which enables internet access.
